Fallout 4: Game Of The Year Edition Releasing Next Month

Bethesda Softworks has announced today that it will be releasing a Game of the Year Edition for Fallout 4 on September 26th for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. It’s certainly been a while since Fallout 4 was released back in 2015, but Bethesda has remained active with the game, releasing patches and updates, as well as 6 DLC packs included with the game’s expansion pass.

The Game of the Year Edition will include all updates to the original game and all 6 DLC packs in one package: Nuka-World, Vault-Tec Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, Far Harbor, Wasteland Workshop, and Automatron. That’s a lot of content in one package.

For Fallout fans looking for a bit more, Bethesda has also announce the return on the Pip-Boy Edition that was introduced at launch in 2015. This special version comes with the Game of the Year Edition game, a Pip-Boy Pocket Guide, a Perk Poster, and a real-life wearable Pip-Boy to make you feel like you’re the Sole Survivor in the Wasteland. By slotting your phone into the Pip-Boy, you can use it in conjunction with the game to access your inventory and quests from your own wrist. The previous iteration of the Pip-Boy Edition sold out quickly at launch and was difficult for many to find, so it’s a welcome return for true fans looking for another chance at the future of wearable tech.

The Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition will launch for a retail price of $59.99, while the Fallout 4: G.O.T.Y. Pip-Boy Edition will launch for a retail price of $99.99 at select North American retailers. For players waiting for the right time to play Fallout 4, this certainly seems to be perfect entry point to hop in the Wasteland and kill some Raiders.
